Answer by macston(5194)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a=angle; c=complement
a=90-c
5c+12=a
5c+12=90-c Subtract 12-c from each side.
6c=78m Divide each side by 6
c=13
a=90-c=90=13=77 ANSWER: The angle is 77 degrees
CHECK:
a-12=5c
77-12=5(13)
65=65
