Question 935057: the difference between 3 times an angle's supplement and 100 degrees is 17. What is the measure of the angle?
Answer by TimothyLamb(4379)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = the angle in degrees
---
3(180 - x) - 100 = 17
3*180 - 3x = 17 + 100
-3x = 17 + 100 - 3*180
x = (17 + 100 - 3*180)/-3
x = the angle in degrees = 141
