The measure of an angle’s supplement is 20o more than three times its complement. Find the angle.
-----
angle:: x
supplement: 180-x
complement: 90-x
-----
Equation
180-x = 3(90-x)+20
180-x = 270 - 3x + 20
2x = 290-180
2x = 110
x = 55 degrees
