What is the value of x if the angles (4x-12) degrees and (11x+17) degrees are complementary?
----
Equation:
(4x-12) + (11x+17) = 90
15x + 5 = 90
15x = 85
x = 17/3
-----
4x-12 = 4(17/3)-12 = 10.67 degrees
11x+17 = 11(17/3)+17 = 79.33 degrees
