Question 905668: I need help! i need help on where you use an algebraic equation to find the measures of two angles, use x to represent the degree measure of the angles supplement. EX: The measure of an angle is 2 times greater than its supplement. what is the measure of the supplement? I need help i do not know how to do this please reply!

The supplement to an angle will make it equal 180.
Let x = the angle's supplement
Let 2x = the angle
2x + x = 180
3x = 180
x = 60
therefore the angle is 2(60) = 120 degrees
and the supplement = 60 degrees
they add up to 180 degrees
