Question 905457: In an isosceles triangle, the base angles are equal and the vertex angle is 80°. Find the measure of the base angles.
Answer by Math_Boss(45) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
z=80 (vertex angle)
x+y+z=180 (Sum of angles of any triangle is always 180)
x+x+z=180 (isosceles triangle, base angles are equal)
Substitute z=80
x+x+80=180
2x=100
x=50
Ans:Base angles are 50 each
Check:50+50+80=180
