If we were looking for the supplement of 110 , it would be 180 - 110 = 70
What we are looking for is the number which when
added to 110 20' 15" = 180
It will be 69 ? ? and we need to find out what added to 20' 15" = 1 degree
45" added to 15"" will give us 60" or 1 second,
that is 20' 15" + 45" = 21'
What do we need to add to 21' to get 60' or a full degree
That would be 39'
so ( 110 20' 15" ) +( 69 39' 45" ) = 180
and 69 39' 45" is the supplement.
