Let 4x= measure of smaller angle
5x= measure of larger angle
Then
5x=2(4x)-60�
5x=8x-60�
8x-5x=60�
3x=60�
x=20�
smaller angle = 4x = 4(20�) = 80�
larger angle= 5x = 5(20�) = 100�
100�+80�=180�
Therefore the angles are supplementary
