The measure of an angle is 30 more than its complement. Find the measure of the angle and its complement.

let the required angle be = x
its complement will be = 90-x
given x = (90-x)+30 i.e, x+x = 90+30 or 2x = 120
therefore x = 120/2 = 60 90-60 = 30
the required angle = 60 degrees & its complement = 30 degrees
