If the measure of an angle is 11 times the measure of a supplementary angle
what are the measures of each angle
---------
Equation:
x + 11x = 180
12x = 180
x = 15 degrees
11x = 165 degrees

Answer by checkley79(3341) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x be the smaller angle.
let 11x be the larger angle.
x+11x=180
12x=180
x=180/12
x=15 degrees for the smaller angle.
11*15=165 degres for the larger angle.
proof:
15+165=180
180=180
