Question 848744: An angle is twice as big as its supplement. How many degrees are the angles?
Answer by harpazo(655)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x = 2(180-x)
We are searching for x and (180-x).

x = 360-2x
-360 = -2x-x
-360 = -3x
-360/-3 = x

120 = x

180-120 = 60

The two angles are 60° and 120°.
