Question 809033: in triangle abc, angle b equals angle a plus 20 degree and angle b equals the sum of angle a and angle b. Find all three angles
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Angle A = x
Angle B = x + 20
Angle C = x + (x + 20)
Total degrees in a triangle = 180
A + B + C = 180
x + (x + 20) + (x +(x + 20))= 180
x + x + 20 + x + x = 20 = 180
4x + 40 = 180
4x = 180 - 40
4x = 140
x = 35
Angle A = 35 degrees
Angle B = 55 degrees
Angle C = 90 degrees
Hope this helps.
