90 - x = its complement

90 = 6x - 210 {added x to each side}
300 = 6x {added 210 to each side}
x = 50 {divided each side by 6}
90 - x = 40 {substituted 90, in for x, into 90 - x}
the angle is 50°
the complement is 40°
