Question 760920: What are the measures of two complementary angles if the difference in their measures is 10.
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + y = 90
x - y = 10
Add
2x = 100
x = 50
x = 50
Substitute x = 50 in
x + y = 90
50 + y = 90
y = 90 - 50
y = 40
50 degrees and 40 degrees.
Hope this helps.
