Solution :
here it is given that A,B,C,D and E are the five consecutive numbers then we can take assume that Let the first consecutive number is x .
hence the other four consecutive number must be:
B = x + 2 , C= x + 4, D = x + 6 , E = x + 8
also second condition say that sum of B and E IS 138
B + E = 138
x + 2 + x + 8 = 138
2x + 10 = 138
2x = 138 - 10
x = 128/ 2
x = 64
hnce the five even consecutive numbers are: 64, 66, 68, 70, 72
