What is the size of the smaller of the two angles?
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x + 7x = 90
12x = 90
x = 90/12
x = 15/2
x = 7.5
5x = 5*7.5 = 37.5
7x = 7*7.5 = 52.5
So the two angles are 37.5 degrees and 52.5 degrees
Therefore, the smaller angle is 37.5 degrees
