Let x = the measure of the angle
then
90-x = the complement of the angle
and
180-x = the supplement of the angle
.
from:"9 times the compliment of an angle is 30 mor then twice its supplement" we get our equation:
9(90-x) = 2(180-x)+30
810-9x = 360-2x+30
810-9x = 390-2x
810 = 390+7x
420 = 7x
60 degrees = x
