The difference between the measure of an angle and it's suplementary is 36 find the measure of the two angles
.
Let x = measure of angle
then
180-x = supplement of angle
.
x - (180-x) = 36
x - 180+x = 36
2x - 180 = 36
2x = 216
x = 108 degrees
.
supplement:
180-x = 180-108 = 72 degrees
.
measure of the two angles: 108 and 72 degrees
