three numbers are in the ratio of 2:3:4,if the sum is 207
what is the largest?
:
Let x = "the multiplier"
then
4x = the largest
:
2x + 3x + 4x = 207
9x = 207
x = 207/9
x = 23
therefore
4(23) = 92 is the largest
