Question 664219: Two angles are supplementary. one is 44 degrees more than three times the other. What are the measures of the angels
Answer by ReadingBoosters(3246) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Just in case you are yet in need of a solution...
Supplementary angles equal 180
If x = 3y+44 and x+y = 180, then
3y + 44 +y = 180
4y = 180 - 44
4y = 136
y = 34 degrees
x = 3(34)+44 = 146 degrees
