Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with this:
"Find the measures of two supplementary angles, angle N and angle M, if the measure of angle N is 5 less than 4 times the measure of angle M.

N = 4M - 5 ----- eq (i)

N + M = 180 ------ eq (ii)

4M - 5 + M = 180 ----- Substituting 4M - 5 for N in eq (ii)

4M + M = 180 + 5

5M = 185

M, or angle M = , or

N + 37 = 180 ----- Substituting 37 for M in eq (ii)

N, or angle N = 180 - 37, or
