I'm assuming that the pipe is flush against the wall all the way up but is 30 degrees off vertical side-to-side.
So you want the measure of the short side of a 30-60-90 right triangle where the long leg is 20 feet.
Using the long leg as a unit measure, the proportions of a 30-60-90 right triangle are
So for a 20 foot long leg, the short leg will measure
or a little over 11 and 1/2 feet or 138.6 inches. Also note that the pipe itself, which is the longest side of the triangle will measure exactly 2 times the measure of the short leg when the offset angle is exactly 30 degrees. Basically, you will need 23 feet of pipe to go up the 20 foot wall if you offset a full 30 degrees.
