An angle's measure is 12º more than half the measure of its supplement. Find the measure of the angle.
.
Let x = measure of angle
then
180-x = supplement of angle
.
x = (1/2)(180-x)+12
2x = (180-x)+24
2x = 204-x
3x = 204
x = 68 degrees
