Question 620284: If I have one angle that measures 45 degrees less than twice the measure of its supplement, what is the measure of
each angle?

Let x be the measure of the angle
Let y be the supplement.
x=2y-45
x + y = 180
(2y-45) + y = 180
3y = 225
3y/3 = 225/3
y=75
Then, find x using the measure of y.
x + y = 180
x + 75 = 180
x = 105

or x = 2y-45
x=2(75)-45
x=150-45
x=105

Therefore, the measure of the angle is 105 degrees and its supplement measures 75 degrees.
