Question 614482: Two parallel lines are cut by a transversal. In a pair of same-side interior angles, one is (6x + 5)° and the other is (8x + 7)°. What is the value of x

same side interior angles add up to 180 so we set the equation as (6x+5)+(8x+7)=180 and we get 14x+12=180 and if we sove for x we get 12 so the angles measure 77 and 103.
