Question 506922: Angle 1 and 2 are supplementary angles
m<1=(x-39)
m<2=(x+6)
find the measure of each angle

Supplementary angles are two angles that add to 180 degrees.

So

m < 1 + m < 2 = 180

(x-39) + (x+6) = 180

x-39 + x+6 = 180

2x-33=180

2x=180+33

2x=213

x=213/2

x=106.5

---------------
m < 1 = (x-39) = 106.5 - 39 = 67.5
m < 2 = (x+6) = 106.5 + 6 = 112.5

So

m < 1 = 67.5
m < 2 = 112.5
