Let x be the complementary angle and y be the supplementary angle.
y = 3x + 20 -> equation 1
sum of complementary and suppliemary angle is 180 degrees
x+y=180
substituting equation 1 in the above,
x + 3x + 20 = 180
4x = 160
=>x = 40 degress
y = 3x + 20 = 120 + 20 = 140 degress
Copmplemenary angle = 40 degress
Supplementary angle = 140 degrees
