Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(180 - x) = 8(90 - x)
540 - 3x = 720 - 8x
5x = 180
x = 36 degrees
The supplement is 144 degrees.
The complement is 54 degrees.
3(144) = 432
8(54) = 432
This does check.
