Question 499796: find the measure of an angle if its measure is 68 degrees less than three times its complement
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x - 68 + 3x = 158
4x = 22
x = 39.5; this is the complement.
50.5, this is the angle.
3(39.5) = 118.5 - 68 = 50.5 degrees.
This does check.
