If angle A and angle B are complementary, A+B = 90.
A = 4*B
.
Substitute.
4*B + B = 90
5B = 90
B = 18
.
So,
A = 72
.
Check your work!
4*18 = 72
OK.
.
Answer: Angle A is 72 degrees.
