Question 498755: 12degree less than one half the supplement of an angle is the same as the complement find the measure of the angle.
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/2(180 - x) - 12 = 90 - x
90 - 1/2x -12 = 90 - x
78 - 1/2x = 90 -x
1/2x = 12
x = 24
complement = 66 degrees
supplement = 156 degrees
156/2 - 78 - 12 = 56,
This does check.
