Question 498418: The measure of the supplement of an angle is 2 less than 3 times the complement of the angle. find the measures of all 3 angles.
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
180 - x + 2 = 3(90 - x)
182 - x = 270 - 3x
2x = 88
x = 44 degrees, the angle.
46 degrees = the complement.
136 degrees = the supplement.
3(46) - 2 - 136 degrees.
This does check.
