Question 496978: I have a test I am studying for tomorrow and there are a few questions I do not understand, they are word problems: the first : the sum of 2 angles is 180 dgrees Angle 1 is 30 degrees less than 2 times angle 2, find the measurement of the two angles. Please could you show the steps

x - 30 + 2x = 180
3x = 210
x = 70 degrees, angle two.
2(70) =30 = 110 degrees, angle one
110 + 70 = 180, this does check.
