Question 496941: Two angles are supplementary. One angle is 208° less than three times the other. Find the measures of the angles
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3(180 -x) = (180 - x) + 208
540 - 3x = 388 - x
152 =2x
x = 76 degrees. This is one angle.
The supplement is 104 degrees. This is the second angle.
104 * 3 = 312
312 - 208 = 104 degrees.
This does check.
