Question 496901: two angles complimentary the measure of one angle is 21 more than twice the meassure of the other angle.

Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + 2x + 21 = 90
3x + 21 = 90
3x = 69
x = 23 degrees, this is the smaller angle.
67 degrees, this is the complement, our second angle.
2(23) + 21 = 67 degrees.
This does check.
