Question 495988: The ratio of the complementry angle to that of supplementry angle is 2:5.What is the measure of supplementry angle?
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
90 - x = .4(180 -x)
90 - x = 72 - .4x
18 = .6x
x = 30
The angle is 30 degrees.
The supplement is 150 degrees.
The complement is 60 degrees
60/150 = 2/5
This does check, cleomenius.
