Question 495112: if an angle is 28 degree less than three times its supplement, how large is the angle?
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + 3x + 28 = 180
4x - 152
x = 38 degrees the angle.
142 degrees the supplement.
3(38) = 114 degrees + 28 degrees = 142 degrees.
This does check.
