Question 494303: If a supplement of an angle has a measure 78 less than the measure of the angle, what are the measures of the angles?
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + x + 78 = 180 degrees.
2x = 102 degrees.
x = 51 degrees.
The supplement is 129 degrees.
51 degrees + 78 degrees = 129 degrees.
129 degrees + 51 degrees = 180 degrees.
This does check.
