Question 493809: find the measure of angle A if 5 times the complement of angle A is 150 degrees greater than the supplement of angle A.
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
180 - x = 5(90 - x) -150
180 - x = 450 -5x -150
180 - x = 300 - 5x
4x = 120
x - 30 degrees, the angle.
The complement is 60 degrees,
The supplement is 150 degrees.
5(60) = 300 degrees, 300 = 150 = 150 degrees.
