Question 493677: The smallest angle in a triangle is half the largest angle. The medium sized angle is 12 degrees less than the largest angle. Remembering that all the angles in a triangle add to 180 degrees, find the measure of all three angles in the triangle.
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A = x
B = 2x - 12
C = 2x
================================
x + 2x + 12 + 2x = 180
5x - 12 = 180
5x = 192
x = 38.4 degrees
==================================
A = 38.4 degrees
B = 64.8 degrees
C = 76.8 degrees.
==================================
38.4 + 64.8 + 76.8 = 180 degrees
This does check.
