Question 493487: The measure of an angle is 6 more than twice the measure of it's complement. Find the measure of both angles.
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x + 6 + x = 90
3x = 84
x = 28 degrees; this is one angle.
2(28) + 6 = 62 degrees, this is the second angle.
28 degrees + 62 degrees = 90 degrees.
This does check.
