the measure of the angle is thirty degrees more
than one-fourth the measure of it's supplement
----
Angle: x
Supplement: 180-x
-----
Equation:
x = (1/4)(180-x)+30
-----
4x = 180-x+30
4x = 150-x
5x = 150
x = 30 (angle)
180-x = 150 (supplement)

Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x - 30 + 4x = 180
5x = 150
x = 30
x + 30 = 60 the angle.
120 the supplement.
60 degrees + 120 degrees = 180
