Question 492619: Five times the supplementary of an angle is 630 more than its complementary. Find the measure of the angle, its supplementary and its complenmentary.
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5(180 - x) - 630 = 90 - x
900 - x - 630 = 90 -x
270 - 5x = 90 - x
180 = 4x
45 = x
45 = the complement.
135 = the supplement.
6(135) = 675 - 630 = 45 degrees.
This does check,
Cleomenius.
