Question 492585: What is the measurement of a supplementary angle that is 20 degrees more than 3 times it's size? What are the measurements of the angles?
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + 3x + 20 = 180
4x + 20 = 180
4x = 160
x = 40 degrees. The smaller angle.
3(40) + 20 = 140 The supplementary angle.
This does check.
