Question 491298: Find the measure of the smaller angle of complementary angles, if the measure of the larger angles is (5x+18) and the measure of the smaller angle is half the larger
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x + 18 + 2.5x 9 = 90
7.5x + 27 = 90
7.5x = 63
x = 8.4
42 + 18 = 60 degrees
21 + 9 = 30 degrees
30 degrees + 60 degrees = 90 degrees.
