one of the supplementary angle exeeds the other by 15 degree.find the measure of the supplementary angle
------
Angle: x
Supplement: 180-x
------------
Equation:
180-x = x + 15
2x = 165
x = 82.5 (the angle)
180-82.5 = 97.5 degrees (supplement)

Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + x + 15 = 180.
2x = 165
x = 82.5 degrees, the first angle.
82.5 + 15 = 97.5 degrees, the 2nd angle.
82.5 degrees + 97.5 degrees = 180 degrees.
