Question 488197: If Angle A is complementary to Angle C. If the measure of Angle A is 2x-10 and Angle C is 4x-40, find the measures of Angle A and C
Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x -10 + 4x -40 = 90
6x -50 = 140
6x = 23.3 degrees
46.6 -10 = 36.6 degrees
23.3 * 4 = 93.2 - 40 = 53.2 degrees.
36.6 + 53.2 degrees = 89.8 degrees, approx. 90 degrees.
