Question 487603: Line H bisects angle EFG
angle EFH=2x+10
angle HFG= 3x+5
angles EFH and HFG are complementary find: EFG
this is what i did to solve it but i really think its wrong beacause it doesnt add up to 90
2x + 10 = 3x + 5
-10 -10
2x = 3x - 5
-3 -3
x =3
2 (5) +10
10 + 10
= 20
3 (5) +5
15 +5
=20
20 + 20 = 40

Answer by cleomenius(959)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x + 10 + 3x + 5 = 90
5x = 75
x = 15
2x + 10 = 40 d3egrees.
3x + 5 = 50 degrees.
40 degrees + 50 degrees = 90 degrees.
