Question 485677: Vertex 1 is the complement of vertex 2. Solve for x and find m<1 and m<2 if <1= (4x+3) and <2=(x-8).
i tried combininq like terms but i belive my method is wronq, please help me work it out !
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x + 3 + x - 8 = 90
5x - 5 = 90
5x = 95
x = 19
To check
----------
4(19) 76 + 3 = 79 degrees angle 1
19-8
= 11 degrees angle 2
79 degrees + 11 degrees = 90 degrees.
Cleomenius.
