Question 482819: What is the sum of the measures of a supplement and a complement of an angle with a measure x degrees? please show how you solved the problem
Answer by cleomenius(959) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The angle is x
The complement is (90 -x)
The supplement is (180 -x)
The sum would be (90-x) and (180 -x)
Therefore, the sum would be 270 - 2x.
So, if your angle is 50, the complement is 40 and the supplement is 130 .
The sum is 170, 270 - 100 is 170.
